Le bandeau continu du cinquième étage, légèrement en retrait, est orné d’un cadran en son centre et de part et d’autre du logo en forme de coquillage de la Shell. Le décor sombre et discret des cache-rideaux en pavés de verre piqués de cabochons de laiton doré et des meneaux de pierre, met en valeur la pureté dominante des bandes enveloppant l’ensemble. L’immeuble a été vendu il y a quelques années. Des travaux d’aménagement entamés par son nouveau propriétaire pour le transformer en hôtel sont actuellement suspendus.
